Is Value Protect available for any container or commodity?
Protect Value For any material carried in dry containers, dry packages are available in four different recovery levels: dry starter, dry base, dry plus, and dry extended. Protect Value Various recovery levels, including Cool Standard, Cool Advanced, Cool Extra, Cool Extended, and Cool Ultimate, can be ordered for any goods carried in Reefer containers.
For my reefer shipment, may I purchase the Value Protect Dry Plus package?
Only dry freight is eligible for the Dry Plus package. You can order our Cool Standard or Cool Advanced packages for your Reefer shipment.
Is Value Protect available for Break Bulk shipments?
Unfortunately, the Value Protect product does not cover Break Bulk freight.
Can I buy Value Protect on a shipment-by-shipment basis?
Yes. Value Protect can either be applied to individual shipments at the time of booking or we can file it for a whole contract. You can add Value Protect by making a regular online reservation and choosing that option.
My own tank and container can I ship?
You may ship your own container with Falcon Logistic services, yes. When making a reservation for Shipper Owned Containers (SOCs), we will need the necessary paperwork, including the Shipper Owned Container Application Form, pictures of the SOC boxes, and pictures of the Container Safety Convention (CSC) plates.
